BRM offers 3 year full time MCA programme approved by AICTE and affiliated to BPUT, Orissa for its 60 seats.

A Graduate of 10+2 pattern from any stream (with mathematics in +2 level) including engineering, provided he/she has qualified in OJEE is eligible to apply.

The eligibility for admission to MCA shall be same as one decided by AICTE from time to time. The Selection of students shall be done on the basis of the Joint Entrance Examination of the State (like OJEE in the state of Odisha) or AIMCET or Common Entrance Test conducted by Association of Colleges. Candidates belonging to Odisha have to appear Odisha JEE. Merit listed candidates shall be called for counseling either centrally or at College level.

Admission shall ordinarily close prior to the commencement of the instruction in the First Semester. Candidates shall have to register as bonafide students with the university as per University regulations before commencement of instruction in First Semester. A student is allowed to attend class only for those subjects that he / she has registered in a semester. Student, who has been promoted with backlog at lower level, has to first register for the backlog subject if the same is being offered in a semester. He / She can register for other regular subject provided the total number of subject including the backlogs that he / she registers in a semester does not exceed 7 and if the timetable permits him / her to attend classes.
